Welcome to our branch web site. To have a try dive all you need is to be able to swim the cost is £5.00 which is refunded if you decide to join the club. Our members have a wide interest in different aspects of diving from photography and biology to wrecks and marine archaeology. Our membership covers a wide sample of the local population from firemen to mechanics and businessmen to bricklayers. Our youngest member is 13 and our oldest 65, with the split of about one third female and two thirds male. We think you are bound to find someone you like out of such a choice so come along and see if this is for you. With British Sub-Aqua Club qualifications accepted all over the world whether you are diving in exotic locations or on holiday your log book is all you need. We have our own boat which gives us access to more isolated diving.
We also use local day boats and liveaboards, depending on the dive site. |
We dive in varied places from Bridlington to Scapa Flow (Orkneys), Plymouth to Gibraltar and in 2008 Truk Lagoon (Philippines). If you are already registered with another organization your qualifications and experience will be accepted. For further details you can email either;

We have a very active social life, from our formal annual dinner to nights out in a variety of restaurants. For the non divers in your family on most of the long distance expeditions we pull in the local visitor sites, like this recent trip to Gibraltar.
